iD CLINICA™ Bio-Spicules are naturally derived from freshwater sponges. They are composed of siliceous microneedles that act as a natural exfoliant and micro-channeling tool for advanced skincare delivery.

Unlike mechanical microneedling, Bio-Spicules do not require devices or needles. Instead, the microcrystals penetrate the skin manually during application, creating controlled microchannels without trauma or bleeding, making it a gentler, yet highly effective alternative.

This treatment is ideal for most skin types, particularly those concerned with aging, dullness, hyperpigmentation, acne, and uneven skin texture. However, it should be used with caution on highly sensitive or reactive skin.

Bio-Spicules can reach as deep as the stratum basale and into the papillary dermis, where they stimulate fibroblast activity and promote collagen and elastin production - key for long-term skin rejuvenation.

Clients may experience mild redness, a tingling sensation, or dryness for a few days post-treatment. These are normal signs of increased cellular activity and skin regeneration. The skin typically appears visibly brighter, smoother, and more refined within 3-5 days.
