How to Use iD CLINICA™ Bio-Spicule Therapy
Training is mandetory but below is a step by step to support your clients skin goals.
As one of the most innovative and natural skin therapies available today, iD CLINICA™ Bio-Spicule Therapy introduces a first-of-its-kind approach to professional skincare. Harnessing the power of siliceous microneedles sourced from freshwater sponges, this treatment offers deep rejuvenation without the need for mechanical devices or invasive techniques.
Step 1: Skin Preparation
- Begin with a thorough double cleanse to remove all traces of makeup, SPF, oil, and debris.
- Gently exfoliate if needed to ensure maximum absorption (optional based on skin type).
- Pat skin dry and assess for any contraindications (e.g., active infections, broken skin, extreme sensitivity).
Step 2: Application of Bio-Spicules
- Dispense the recommended amount of iD CLINICA™ Bio-Spicules into a mixing dish.
- Combine with a compatible activator serum or treatment ampoule provided in the protocol.
- Using gloved fingertips or a soft brush, begin applying the mixture to the face in small sections.
- Work the spicules into the skin using light, firm circular motions for 3–5 minutes.
Note: Clients may feel a tingling or prickling sensation as the spicules penetrate the epidermis.
Step 3: Penetration Phase
- Continue massaging until the product is fully absorbed.
- Focus on target areas such as fine lines, pigmentation, or acne-prone zones for more concentrated treatment.
Step 4: Neutralisation or Soothing
- Depending on skin type or protocol used, apply a neutralising or calming mask to reduce sensation and rebalance the skin.
- Leave on for 10–15 minutes and gently remove with lukewarm water or soaked gauze.
Step 5: Post-Treatment Care
- Finish with a hydrating serum, barrier-repair moisturiser, and SPF if performed during the day.
- Provide aftercare guidance, including:
- Avoid touching or washing the face for 6–8 hours post-treatment
- Expect mild tingling or tightness for up to 48 hours.
- Avoid actives (e.g. retinoids, acids) and sun exposure for 3–5 days
- Use calming products and hydration boosters to support skin regeneration
